16th Anniversary!

Today Chris and I celebrate our 16th years of marriage! Enjoy the picture which was taken on our wedding day, July 31, 1993.

Braden's Soccer Game

Last night, of course, with the new toy, zoom len, I had to bring it to Braden's soccer game. I can see that I am improving. Still need more practise, I know! The more I play with it, I am sure I will get better!

At this game, Braden really played well and threw in his best effort! I am proud of him!

Fun and Fun! YES! Fun!

Yesterday I took my two boys to a splash park. I just purchased a new zoom len. I wanted to try it out! Here are some pictures that I took with the new len. I know I need more practise with this new toy.

Updates on Scrapper's Island

Scrapper Island, scrapbooking survivor like game, had been an awesome and rich experience for me! I truly enjoyed playing this game with other 30 wonderful ladies. I kept on and on until Week #6. I had been sent to the exile island ("out" of the game). For every challenge even the immunity challenge, it was so much fun! For the two immunity idol challenges, I can say it was no fun! I kept looking and looking. I never found any... (teary eyes) haha

Some more pictures of layouts that I did for the Scrapper's Island.

Week 6 Immunity Challenge - 24 hours and use baby pictures
Week 6 Challenge - Use old crappy photo and papers (following colour theme)
Week 5 Immunity Challenge - Scrabbled game (I missed this challenge)

Week 5 Challenge - Diecut Background Layout

Week 4 Immunity Challenge (I missed this one as I was out of town)

Week 4 Challenge - Pretty in Pink Week 3 Immunity Challenge - Scavenger Hunt

Our Scrapbooking Getaway!

Cranberry Club Resort at the Blue Mountain, Collingwood was where Sharlene and I stayed for our scrapbooking getaway. In our room, it was just an awesome. There was a kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, and dining room. We had our own bathroom each. A real luxury! Of course, the dining room and the living room changed into a SCRAPBOOKING room! We moved around the furnitures to accomodate to our needs! We moved them back to their original spots on the last day. It was so sad to do this part! Beside scrapbooking, we did some other activities. We managed to escape to both pools, indoor and outdoor for some swimming. One evening, we went out to Dairy Queen for a treat! Of course what we had were yummy! One day we went to the village. It was an awesome place to visit and we had tons of fun! This place was a good for us to take pictures of each other for our future new scrapbooking layouts! Now Sharlene cannot complain that she has "no" picture of herself! I made sure I took SO MANY pictures of her! I also asked her to take so many of pictures of me as well. So enjoy some pictures here...

Oops!

Oops! I just cannot believe that I have not been on this blog for a while.... but clearly it is showing that I have been having a busy summer! I still have approximately one month of summer holiday left! The picture of me, it had been taken at the Blue Mountain, Collingwood. We had a wonderful time scrapping the few days away there!

Scrapper's Island Week 3 Challenge "Black Tie Affair"

When I was looking for a picture for this challenge. The picture had to be back and white. I knew that I had printed off few black and white pictures. It took me a while to do a search for them! BINGO! I found this picture and thought that I could do a layout on her, Mary Kenopic. She is my husband's grandmother. Myself, Mary is my grandmother also! She is really a sweet and adorable woman. I am fortunate to have her in my life as all my four grandparents had passed away. So I never had the experience of having a grandmother until I met Chris. I was lucky that Chris shared his grandmother with me. I know that grandmother and Chris are very very close to each other!
Title for this layout: a true GRANDMOTHER Subtitle: Always on the GO!

Scrapper's Island Immunity Challenge

On Monday, June 22, there was an immunity challenge. Two Scrapbook Friends posted up a challenge. It was to make a card.

Here is my card that I made in a RUSH and I WON the immunity!!! It was fun especially when I had to RUSH and RUSH! I think I did a pretty good job!

Soccer Season is HERE!

Soccer season is here again for us. This year Charada and Braden are playing soccer. Janna did not want to play soccer this year but she is regretting that she decided not to play. I think she will play again next year. Dalton is still young. We look forward when he can start playing soccer next year!

Here is a picture of Braden, all ready to play soccer last Thursday night.
At the practise session, Braden is aiming to make a goal.
Trying to kick the soccer ball!
Overall, Thursday night was awesome. Braden played at his best! His team sure made many goals! A winning team! Hands clapping!
I am going to take picture of Charada's soccer on upcoming Tuesday. So I am looking forward to another soccer game!
