Look at what I did!

YES! Three double page layouts! I achieved making them during my "Scrapbooking Fun Day" (with Sharlene). I have one more double layout that I started so that would have been FOUR double page layouts but I would not say that I count them as FOUR! So I will stick to THREE double page layouts!

Scrapbooking Fun Day - It was a good one!

Yesterday I woke up very early with motivation to start a Saturday knowing that it would be a Scrapbooking Fun Day with my friend, Sharlene. Sharlene and I went to Two Scrapbook Friends store and stayed there for the day. We worked on our layouts. In the pictures, you can see that Sharlene has been busy doing two things, working on her layout and doing some shopping! When the store had to close (at 5p.m.), we packed up and went to her house to do more SCRAPBOOKING. We continued till almost midnight. Overall, another successful scrapbooking fun day for both of us! Sharlene, thank you for the wonderful fun!

Karan's Sketch 16 Challenge

Here is my layout for Karan’s Sketch #16 Challenge at Two Scrapbook Friends. You know I like double page layout. Both pages are two different things but I tried to combine them together by using same colour, and style.

For No Fear layout, I used three pictures instead of one picture as Karan’s sketched plan.

For Fun layout, I flipped Karan’s sketch so that both pages would look balanced and I also used three pictures on this layout.

More pictures of DinoLand with our boys, Braden and Dalton. This double page layout shows the boys at their adventure of exploring more on dinosaurs! This makes me wonder if they were thinking they were dreaming of seeing dinosaurs! I KNOW it was so much fun for them!

Meeting Buzz Lightyear!

Jumping around just because I had the chance to scrapbook again tonight! Here is my double page layout that I have completed tonight. I started this layout last night. This layout is about Charada, Janna and Braden meeting Buzz Lightyear. I got to use the Buzz sticker from the stash. It was somewhat challenge because of colour in the sticker but I think I did well.

Here is my double page layout. I started this layout a while ago and finally I finished them last night. I was able to use some stickers from my stash. It is just a simple double page layout.

The New Nest!

Here is the picture of my mom's condo. It is her second day in this new home. The movers were moving the boxes, do not ask me how many, into her condo on Friday. We have set up a temporary bed for her. Friday night was her first night to sleep in there. She has purchased many new furnitures. Her new bedroom set will arrive sometime soon. I bet that she is excited when her furniture arrives. Once the furniture arrive, her new nest will finally look like a cosy nest!

An old and new nest!

All excited for the long weekend aren’t we all? I am excited that we have an extra day off. The weekend will be somewhat interesting and emotional one as I can imagine. It is all up to us how we want to do the weekend. It is an exciting and sad moment because my mom had sold our “HOME” which she had it for 50 years. She has bought a condo not very far from where the house is. She got the key for her condo yesterday. She is all excited. My sisters and I will be spending the weekend helping her around. Tomorrow at 10:30 am, we will meet at mom’s house and then we all will go over to her “new” home. We will spend the day cleaning and making sure that the “new” nest is ready and suitable for her to move in. My sister and mom had visited the nest last night and they said that the nest is very much clean but we wanted to make sure that it is totally clean by our hands! The picture is my mom and the house that I grew up in. I will make sure that I take a picture of the “NEW” nest and post it the next time!

Celebrations!

Yes, it is a celebration time for me! First of all, tomorrow is going to be a special day for everyone who is a mommy to darling children! I wish to sign “Happy Mommy’s Day” to you all! There is another reason for celebrations; I am trying to create this blog. I hope you enjoy your Mommy’s Day and this blog!
