Two Scrapbook Friends' Colour Challenge

Christa, a DT at 2SF posted a colour challenge.  Here are the four colours.

I looked through my scrap papers.  I found some good ones.  I was thrilled to be able to use the scrap papers and they matched the colours!

I started with this one card.

I was enjoying myself and that I ended up with FOUR cards!  I continued using the same papers that I started with and tried my best to use them all up!  I was looking at different challenges that were posted by other scrapbooking blogs.  I did one for 365 Days - A New Card Challenge Every Day, Clean & Simple Stamping, and Crazy 4 Challenges.

I am thinking of giving the cards as a gift set to someone.  I wrapped the cards with a bow!

Now you know why my colour theme continued for the below cards.  I just did not want to do 4 or 5 challengs on ONE card.  I preferred to do each challenge on its own card.  And I achieved this tonight!

Like I mentioned in the previous post about YELLOW.   I had to constantly remind myself that I must add yellow to the cards.... as the colour challenge included YELLOW!

Clean and Simple Stamping #175 Card Sketch

At Clean and Simple Stamping blog, it showed a card sketch.  I liked this sketch very much as it looked so simple and NICE.  It also wanted the card to be 4 1/2 x 3 1/4.

Here is their card sketch.

Here is my CONGRATULATIONS card.

Crazy 4 Challenges C4C #121 - Lots of Layers and Embellies

Crazy 4 Challenges stated "It is the middle of the winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. A common practice is to layer on clothes, trying to stay warm. Well....your challenge for today is to...."

add layers on my card with embellies.... it was fun.

Here is my CONGRATULATIONS card.

365 Cards- So GOOD - use word "GOOD"

365 Cards - A New Card Challenge Every Day  Challenge for Day #334 was to use the word, GOOD.  This word Good Bye was not allowed.  I looked through my stamp stash and found this "GOOD LUCK"  It also has the famous St. Patrick symbol.

Here is my card.

"A Rare Opporunity" Layout - Belt Buckle Challenge

Today I decided to do this 2SF CRAFTY CHALLENGE!   The challenge was to use a belt buckle.

I am pleased with the outcome of this. I simply used PP and cardstock for the belt buckle with the punches. I did some stitching. I used the MIRROR butterflies. (REMEMBER that the butterflies are DEAF) This is about Braden (our Deaf son) sitting and so focused on this wonderful talented ASL storysigner (storyteller). This man flew to our school from the states. Braden just loved his ASL stories. Our school had a event, Deaf Hertiage Month to celebrate our ASL Hertiage! The "B" at the left top corner represents the name of my son, Braden.

"A Rare Opporunity" is the main idea of this layout.

Thank you, Sharlene, DT for 2SF for this fun challenge!  You can click on her name to see her wonderful layout using a belt buckle!

Me as a LUCKY WINNER!

I was doing my daily blog checkings.  I came up to this surprise at 365 Cards - A New Card Challenge Every Day.

I saw my name as the LUCKY WINNER!  This is my first win!  It was a random drawing.

This note I read, "Thanks to Design Team member Wendi for providing a fabulous prize package for one lucky winner. That winner from last week is....    ME"

I look forward to find out what the fabulous prize package is.

3 - Sharlene - Dream
4 - JoAnn H - Create
5 - Jan - Breathe
6 - MaryAnn - Cherish
7 - Tanya - Courage
8 - Tory - Focus

I  have ordered the wooden tray frame to hold all of the 12 cards.  2SF is selling this.
I cannot wait to see all of the other scrapper's creations! I look forward to put my own ATC and the new ATC cards from the others.

I likely will paint my wooden tray black first.

I will make sure I post my finished work with the tray with all of the ATC cards on it!
