CONVERSE SHOES

When we were vacationing in Orlando, I took both of my girls shopping at the Orlando Premium Outlet. Janna have always begged for a pair of converse shoes.  Of course, she kept her eyes open for them and she found them.

Shelby offered her sixth sketch challenge at the Two Scrapbook Friends.  I enjoyed playing with it yesterday morning.

THE ORANGE TREE

On our way to air boating adventure to see the alligators, Chris knew that he had to stop when he first saw the orange trees.  Of course I told all of the kids to get out of the van and to go and stand by the tree! LOL!  I wanted to take a picture of them with the orange tree.  I sure was glad that Chris stopped driving!

Ann provided her sketch #8 challenge at the Two Scrapbook Friends.  I had fun playing with her sketch.  The orange worked well for her circle behind the photo.

TRYING HARD TO BE HARRY POTTER

At our resort in Florida, on our way out to Universal Studios, with Braden's Harry Potter spirit, Chris steals the eye glasses and tries them on.  I think he is trying hard to be a Harry Potter!

At the Two Scrapbook Friends, Amanda crafty challenged us to stitch a shape.  So I have decided to stitch up a castle with a moon.  It was fun playing this challenge.

Harry Potter

Getting ready to go to Universal Studio last year in Florida, Braden posed as Harry Potter with his cape and tie at our resort.  He wanted to wear them all day.  Sure, let's show his love of Harry Potter!  Here we went to Universal Studio!

For this layout, I played with Jayne's sketch #14 challenge at the Two Scrapbook Friends.

EASTER

Yah! Yah! Some online scrapping time on Friday in the evening with my girlfriends.Through some minor obstacles, broken camera, buying cheap camera ("for now"), still trying to get used to new computer, still learning how to transfer pictures/videos to the new computer with the new camera.  I know they all look simple but with busy schedule and MANY interruptions from the four children, that is easy NOT!

Denise, Sharlene and I scrapped online.  All of us were thrilled and we were managed to come up with a beautiful layout each.  The planning for the online crop was a last minute but we made it!

It was my turn to host one.  So first challenge I thought of was of course, that it has to be Easter related so I chose that the Easter pictures has to be included.  The second challenge was this sketch by Laura Whitaker posted in ScrapMuch?.  The third challenge was an optional, to pick a crafty challenge of their choice from the Two Scrapbook Friends.   For the crafty challenge, I chose Ann's "That's unusual", as I used buttons to create a carrot.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!

Hope you all had a good Easter.   This year we have decided not to go away for the long weekend.   We have been going away for the Easter weekend for so many years!.  We have been spending it with Chris' family side.  This year we get to spend with my side of the family which was nice!  My oldest sister hosted the Easter dinner.

I wanted to give everyone a small gift and of course this gift idea from Two Scrapbook Friends was just perfect. So I made 19 of them!  Everyone loved it!  Thank you, 2SF!

Take care!
