Here is my layout I created....  I have used washi tape in several areas.... and it was FUN!

BEACH STAR

More scrapping for National Scrapbook Day!

I sure wish we celebrate NSD everyday!

At the Scrapbook Generations, there are several cool challenges.  Tonight I have decided to do ONE more challenge!

Challenge #1: Star Challenge

STAR CHALLENGE PROMPT:
Stars are such versatile embellishments. We use them on layouts about holidays (Christmas, Fourth of July), people (rock star, award winner, child), and events (contests, concerts, camping trips). For this challenge, use your creative talents to make one or more special star embellishments for a one- or two-page layout. Materials you might try: felt, fabric, chipboard, corrugated cardstock, floss, twine, ribbon, bling, and more...be a creative star!

It was fun playing this STAR challenge.  I was glad that I came up with this title BEACH STAR for this picture of Charada.  Just a perfect title for her I think!  She loves beaches and always is proud every time she gets a tan line!

I also am playing this another challenge for Jayne's What a Feeling (Texture) at the Two Scrapbook Friends.  On this layout, you can feel embossed star, tulle, paint blots, rhinestone gems and smooth washi tape.

At ScrapMuch?  Laura Whitaker offers another beautiful sketch.  Of course I wanted to play with it.

SILLY

National Scrapbook Day is keeping me busy and I am not complaining!  I am SMILING!

This layout is for Scrapbook Generation.  They are having some FUN challenges over there too!

Challenge #6: Product Challenge

PRODUCT  PROMPT:
We all have our favorite go-to products when it’s time to create a layout. Sometimes we even get in a rut, and need a creative jolt to use products that we haven’t used for a while...or ever. For this challenge, choose at least five products from the following list and use them (as well as other items) to create a one- or two-page layout. Choose your five from these products: washi tape, chipboard, misting product, paint, metal charm, baker’s twine, brads, glitter glue, enamel dots, wood veneer, jewels, bingo card, flair...then make a Fab Five creation!

I just love playing with products as I have LOTS in my stash!!!  Thank you!

For Scrapbook Generations I am submitting this page for their NSD challenge #3 one page sketch.

Challenge #3: One-Page Sketch

ONE-PAGE SKETCH PROMPT:
Scrapbook Generation sketches are unique in the industry. They provide exact dimensions and placements of photos and other page items. For this challenge, you have two options. Option One: use a one-page Scrapbook Generation sketch to create a one-page layout. Option Two: Use a two-page Scrapbook Generation sketch and alter it to create a one-page layout. Materials you can use: Any sketch from one of the Scrapbook Generation sketch books, print or e-book versions, or any sketch download from scrapbookgeneration.com (including the free downloads)...choose a sketch and make it your own!

Two Scrapbook Friends Carolyn's Crash Your Stash Challenge

Carolyn provided the challenges below....
Numbers 1 - 7 are products you could have (you must used at least 4 on your layout, card or project)
Numbers 8 - 10 are techniques you can do (you must do 2 on your layout, card or project)

1 - use a sticker  (I used more than one!)

2 - use an arrow

3 - use a journal card

4 - use one pattern paper (can use more if desired)

5 - use one sheet of cardstock (can use more if desired)

6 - use a die-cut

7 - journal (if making a card - include a verse inside your card.....not just the sentiment)

8 - sand something (distress with sanding tool or sand paper)  Did not do this one.

9 - use a punch or die-cut machine to create a shape or element

I used the CUTTLEBUG to cut the QuickKutz Owl.

10 - ink the edges of your paper

I distressed all of the papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.

Two Scrapbook Friends: NSD Ann's I've Been Framed Challenge

Ann's challenge was to FRAME a photo with a kind of embellishment!  Since my layout was about a school kindergarten graduation, I decided that mini coloured pencils are just perfect way to frame up a photo!

CELEBRATE

Fun birthday card I created recently!

I was in mood to create something small so I decided to go for a card and I know I always am in a need of more birthday cards.  So I decided to go for a birthday card!

On my blog, on my right side, I have a list that I like to follow and read.  Many of them I do not get around to TRY their challenges.  So today I decided to go for something new, trying Little Red Wagon.  I have tried Mojo Monday a few times but it has been a long time that I have played their card sketch so here I played with their sketch.  Then the challenge from Shelby of circles and stars popped up at the right time!  Circles and stars often work well with BIRTHDAYS! So I decided to add on this challenge to this card project!

So cool that I created this card and that I was able to play for three different challenges!  Thank you Little Red Wagon, Shelby at Two Scrapbook Friends and Mojo Monday!

REPITLA Birthday Loot Bag Name Tags!

Wonderful birthday party at Reptilia yesterday for Braden and Dalton, we got to see so many interesting reptiles there!

Of course, we all know that birthday parties do not end without loot bags!  I have created many name tags to go with the loot bags so at the end we know who already got their loot bags!  This does help with organizing, that is for sure!
