"OH THE PLACE YOU WILL GO"

Hello!

Recently, Janna had a liturgy in her classroom and it was open to parents/visitors as it was Catholic Education Week.  I grabbed this opportunity to visit her and you can imagine she was not too happy about this.  There were around 10 other parents showed up so I was glad I did!  I know it was awkward especially at her age but I wanted to GO! I am glad I did!

GROWING UP- Big Boy Now

Hello!

Beautiful day here but the weather has turned COLD here after being so WARM for MANY days!

Another double page layout from me....  I truly enjoyed creating these pages.  Recently my son Dalton invited me to visit him in his classroom.  It was part of the Catholic Education Week.  Of course I grabbed this opportunity to VISIT him!  I always love visiting my children at their schools.

On my right page, I used three banners, three arrows, three buttons, three chevrons, three pieces of washi tapes, and three repeated date stamps for the The Rule of Three challenge.

Challenges I played for:

Two Scrapbook Friends National Scrapbook Day Christa's Colour Challenge
Two Scrapbook Friends Monday Crafty Challenge: Christa's The Rule of Three

The sketch I used for this double page layout was from Scrapbook Generations.  It was one of their National Scrapbook Day 2013 challenge.  I did not play it as their challenge but I saved the beautiful sketch.  For the left page, I have made some adjustment so it is a bit different from the sketch.

CELEBRATE Happy Mother's Day!

Hello!

Worked on this double page layout yesterday, just a perfect timing for a Mother's Day weekend!  Tomorrow is Mother's Day!

Happy Mom's Day to everyone!

I sure was glad to be able to scrap about the pictures from the year 2008!  They have been in my stash for a long time and I sure am GLAD that now I can say that I have them completed!  Giving myself some back pats!!!

Little Red Wagon posted up a challenge to do something about MOM!  I have decided to do a double page layout about myself since I am a MOM to four beautiful children.  The layouts shows what happened on the Mother's day in the morning in the year of 2008.  The children woke me up and surprised me a "in the bed" breakfast.  They also gave me HUGS and gifts.  What a nice feeling and loving children I have!  I sure am glad that Chris took the pictures (I know my hair was messy, me in the pj's and puffed eyes were not good but.... look how young my children were!!!!)

The sketch I used was from Laura Whitaker from ScrapMuch?  Thank you Laura for the wonderful sketch.

BEACH STAR

More scrapping for National Scrapbook Day!

I sure wish we celebrate NSD everyday!

At the Scrapbook Generations, there are several cool challenges.  Tonight I have decided to do ONE more challenge!

Challenge #1: Star Challenge

STAR CHALLENGE PROMPT:
Stars are such versatile embellishments. We use them on layouts about holidays (Christmas, Fourth of July), people (rock star, award winner, child), and events (contests, concerts, camping trips). For this challenge, use your creative talents to make one or more special star embellishments for a one- or two-page layout. Materials you might try: felt, fabric, chipboard, corrugated cardstock, floss, twine, ribbon, bling, and more...be a creative star!

It was fun playing this STAR challenge.  I was glad that I came up with this title BEACH STAR for this picture of Charada.  Just a perfect title for her I think!  She loves beaches and always is proud every time she gets a tan line!

I also am playing this another challenge for Jayne's What a Feeling (Texture) at the Two Scrapbook Friends.  On this layout, you can feel embossed star, tulle, paint blots, rhinestone gems and smooth washi tape.

At ScrapMuch?  Laura Whitaker offers another beautiful sketch.  Of course I wanted to play with it.

National Scrapbook Day is keeping me busy and I am not complaining!  I am SMILING!

This layout is for Scrapbook Generation.  They are having some FUN challenges over there too!

Challenge #6: Product Challenge

PRODUCT  PROMPT:
We all have our favorite go-to products when it’s time to create a layout. Sometimes we even get in a rut, and need a creative jolt to use products that we haven’t used for a while...or ever. For this challenge, choose at least five products from the following list and use them (as well as other items) to create a one- or two-page layout. Choose your five from these products: washi tape, chipboard, misting product, paint, metal charm, baker’s twine, brads, glitter glue, enamel dots, wood veneer, jewels, bingo card, flair...then make a Fab Five creation!

I just love playing with products as I have LOTS in my stash!!!  Thank you!
