We all know that the schools have been busy doing their projects, finishing up some units, practising for Christmas plays, and doing some fun Christmas activities.
On Sunday, we all went to Mandarin for Charada's 14th birthday dinner. She invited 3 girlfriends to go with us. There were nine of us. The food were so good and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. We ate in the "Parrot" themed room.
On Wednesday, we attended ECD school for the annual Christmas dinner. It was good to see families who live far away being able to come and be with their child who stays at the residence. After the dinner, we went to watch the Elementary School Christmas play. Braden and his class were doing a play on "PIONEER". We know that it is part of their Social Studies curriculum. Here is a good picture of our "PIONEER" boy!
On Thursday, at Dalton's school we were invited to Advent liturgy. After the liturgy, we had a fun activity. Dalton got to decorate upside down ice cream cone with green icing. With magic, it had turned into a Christmas tree with candies decorated on it. We all enjoyed this activity.
The week is not over... we still have few more days before Christmas!
Sounds like you have been very busy. I love all these fun activities you have been having with your kids. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
