A LONG WAIT (2 Crafty Challenges)

At the Two Scrapbook Friends, there are crafty challenges on Mondays which I love to play!

I used a two page layout sketch from the Support Sketch.  (Two Page Layout #1)

The left page is for Amanda's Colour Palette Challenge.  It was interesting colours to play with.  I see that I do not have much of variety of grey paper.  I decided to mix some white gesso with a little of black paint and I came up with a beautiful shade of grey.

The right page is for Ann's Crafty Challenge, Make A Mess!!  It was fun.  It got me into my thinking cap and wondered how I can make a mess on my layout.  Of course paint and gesso will do the job!  I really had fun!   First I painted up some yellow spots on the white cardstocks for the background papers.  I used some stencils to put some gesso onto.  I had to wait for the paint and gesso to dry.  When they were ready, I started putting all of the pictures together and placed them.  Of course I added some embellishments, title, and some diecuts.  That was last night.   This morning when I looked at both pages, I came up with one more idea.  It was to use the white gesso and honeycomb stencil and decided to put some gesso on the PICTURES and some other areas!  They looked really MESSY!  I am satisfied now!
