LET YOUR TRUE COLOURS SHINE THROUGH {ScrapMuch? DT}

Hello! 

 

I am excited to reveal my own first design team layout for ScrapMuch? today.  I have been given a sketch for a double page layout for today.  You will get to know that I love double page layouts!

 

I have decided to create pages on my daughter who turned 16 last December. So it is a SWEET 16 celebration for her!  Seeing that I have some pink balloons in the pictures so I decided to look for some pink papers.  I found the papers that I have been hoarding for a while.... I won't say how long. LOL!  It was MME, Abbey Road. I pretty much followed the sketch.  For the right page, I used a 5x7 picture instead of using two 4x6 pictures.  I have matted all of the pictures.  All of the patterned papers except for the large square background (hard to see in the picture) have been matted with "cream" coloured cardstock.  I fussy cut the swirls from the patterned papers with the birds on them.  The birds are really cute!  I fancied them up with some flower chipboard and flower stickers. I have used two doilies from My Favorite Thing dynamic Dainty Doily Duo and inserted them behind all of the beautiful flowery chipboards.  Lastly, I final touched up the pages with some sequins.  Thank you, Laura Whitaker for the awesome sketch!
