Hello!
I am happy to be here with another reveal for ScrapMuch? Team A. I am glad to share my double page layout using Laura Whitaker's sketch.
My family and I went down to Washington DC for my niece's graduation from university. Of course we got the chance to do some sightseeing. I graduated from the same university there myself. I am very much familiar with the place but for this place, WW II Memorial, it was new to me. I saw that it was set up in 2004. I graduated approximately 10 years before that. It was a very interesting memorial area and I can say it is a beautiful place. A nice way to remember and honour the 16 million who served in the armed forces in the USA, the more than 400,000 who died, and all who supported the war effort from home.
In the pictures, are my sister, my two girls, niece, her boyfriend and their daughter.
Here is Laura Whitaker's sketch. I pretty much followed the sketch except that I used wallet size pictures because I had so many pictures. I wanted to include a journal so I removed one section of a wallet size photo and wrote the information about this memorial place. On my right place, I went on longer than the sketch showed because I did not want to cut the picture in the middle in between the two pagers.
So many pictures but so little time!
Keep scrapping!
